Welcome to My Fishing Frenzy Academy (MFFA).

Your use of this website or of any content presented in any and all areas of the website indicates your acknowledgment and agreement to these Terms of Use, our Policies and other notices posted on this website. If you do not agree to be bound by and comply with all of the foregoing, you may not access or use our information, services, or website.

MFFA shall have the right, at its sole discretion, to modify, add or remove any terms or conditions of these Terms of Use without notice or liability to you. Any changes to these Terms of Use shall be effectively immediately following the posting of such changes on this website.

Cancellation Policy
 

Cancellations or Amendments

Any change in date is considered as cancellation.

 

Less than or 7 days prior to course/ trip - No refund

Less than or 14 days prior to course/ trip - 50% refund

More than 14 days prior to course/ trip - Full refund with 10% cancellation fees

 

If the course is cancelled by MFFA due to unforeseen reason prior to the course i.e. insufficient anglers, etc., a full refund will be credited back. However, MFFA shall not be liable for any losses or whatsoever incurred by the student due to the cancellation.

 

Terms and conditions on the invoice shall supersede the above.


Wet Weather

The course WILL PROCEED regardless of rain or shine. It will only be cancelled upon notification from MFFA either via email or phone short messaging system. MFFA's decision for cancellation or proceed with the course is final. If the course is cancelled by MFFA, full refund will be credited back to the credit card or bank account that you used for payment.

 

There shall be no refund if the course is delayed by wet weather. For your own safety, it shall solely be the discretion of the instructor to make adjustments to the course itinerary when extreme weather conditions occur.

 

Termination and Indemnity

 

The student/ customer accepts responsibility for the proper conduct of themselves. MFFA reserves the right in our absolute discretion to terminate, without further notice, the course/ trip arrangements who refuses to comply with the instructions or orders of MFFA and whose behavior in MFFA’s opinion is likely to cause distress, damage, danger or annoyance to other customers, staff, any third party or to the property. Upon such termination MFFA's responsibility for the course/ trip ceases and shall not be liable for any costs incurred by the student/ customer.

 

Personal Health and Well-Being

 

In the event that the student/ customer does not feel well i.e. giddyness and seasickness, during the course/ trip/ expedition which results in cutting short the stipulated schedule. MFFA shall not be liable for any losses incurred by the students/ customers and no refunds will be issued. MFFA reserves the right in our absolute discretion to adjust the course/ trip/ expedition schedule accordingly based on the severity of the issue arising from unforeseen situations.

 

Damage/ Loss of Fishing Equipment

 

The student/ customer shall only use the fishing equipment in a careful and proper manner as guided by MFFA instructors/ personnel. The student/ customer shall be liable for the replacement costs of the damage/ loss of the fishing equipment due to careless handling and improper usage.

 

List of replacement costs

• Fishing rod or reel used for land based fishing - $50 per rod or reel

• Fishing rod or reel used for boat based fishing - $100 per rod or reel

 

Insurance

 

There is no insurance coverage by the academy for the courses/ trips/ expeditions. Students/ Customers are to purchase their own travel insurance. MFFA, its management, servants and organisers of the event are not liable for any claims, loss or damage whatsoever in respect of death, injury, disability or any loss or damage whatsoever arising from any cause in connection with the trip/ instructional course or my participation therein.

 

All students/ customers are deemed to have read and understood the above terms and conditions during the registration of the course/ trip/ expedition.

Lost and Found

MFFA will store “lost and found” items only for a period of three months provided always that if MFFA at its absolute discretion is of the view that any of the items do not have such a long shelf-life, then MFFA shall be entitled to use and/or dispose of the items before the three-month period MFFA deems fit.

 

If rightful owners fail, refuse and/or neglect to claim any items within the aforesaid three-month period, then MFFA at its absolute discretion shall be entitled to use, retain and/or dispose of the items as MFFA deems fit.

In any event, neither MFFA nor its staff shall be liable or accountable to anyone in any way for the place, method and/or length of storage and/or the use, retention and/or disposal of any of the items. ​

Privacy Policy
 

Introduction

MFFA respects each individual’s right to personal privacy. We will collect and use information through our Web site only in the ways disclosed in this statement. This statement applies solely to information collected at MFFA’s Web site.

Part I. Information Collection

MFFA collects information through our Web site at several points. We collect the following information about primary visitors:

• First Name
• Last Name
• Date of Birth
• Email
• Street Address
• Post Code
• City
• State/Province
• Country
• Contact Information

We collect demographic data in order to ensure that we can deliver our newsletters or promotional offers to you correctly.

We collect this information through registration forms. To receive our services, real addresses and contact numbers are mandatory because then we can contact the customers on new courses and destinations. Other information we request is optional.

We do not employ cookies. A cookie is a small text file that our Web server places on a user’s computer hard drive to be a unique identifier.

Part II. Information Usage

Registered users will receive additional announcements from us about products, services, special deals, and a newsletter. Out of respect for the privacy of our users we present the option to not receive these types of communications.

The information we collect will be used to create customer profiles based on browsing history. We will not supplement information collected at our Web site with data from other sources. We offer links to other Web sites. Please note: When you click on links to other Web sites, we encourage you to read their privacy policies. Their standards may differ from ours.

If our policy on information collection or uses changes, we will advise you through the email address that you have provided within 10 working days.

Part III. Access to Information

MFFA maintains the accuracy of our information by personal experience. Users may access their own personal information and contact us about inaccuracies they may find. Users may delete their information from our database immediately by un-registering from MFFA.

Part IV. Multimedia

WA uses photos and videos taken during the trips for marketing purposes on multimedia platforms. Users may request to have their photos or videos removed by sending us an email.

Part V. Problem Resolution

If problems arise, users may contact MFFA's representatives through their mobile numbers or by sending a message in the contact form provided at the bottom of the website. We are committed to resolving disputes within 3 working days.
