DESCRIPTION:

 

Pond fishing is a quick way for you to practise how to fight a reasonable sized fish. Do not be fooled by the fact that fish are easy to catch when they are confined within the boundaries of a pond. Your experience with their feeding behaviour and your casting accuracy will determine whether your day will be a fruitful one.

 

Upon completion of the course, you will be able to know the various rigs used for pond fishing, and to fight a fish confidently thus increasing your chance of landing it.

 

PRE-COURSE EXPERIENCE:

 

Beginner Angler's Course

 

INSTRUCTOR TO NUMBER OF STUDENTS:

 

1:10

 

Minimum 6 students are required for the course to be conducted. Groups and individuals will be combined to form a class.

 

AGE:

 

All ages from 5 years old and above.

(5-12 year olds must be accompanied by at least an adult who is taking the course.)

 

COURSE INCLUDES:

 

- Theory lessons on pond fishing

- Private pond fishing for 3 hours

- Bait for fishing

- Keeping your catch for dinner

 

FISHING EQUIPMENT:

 

Please inform us in advance whether you will require us to provide you with our in-house fishing rod and reel.

 

Fishing equipment is provided free of charge to all students of MFFA.

 

ATTIRE:

 

Please wear comfortable clothing as you will be out in nature all day.

Theory lessons are conducted under shelter.

 

DON'T FORGET TO BRING:

 

- Drinking water

- Sun block

- Sunglasses

- Raincoat (in case of rain)

- Plastic bags to bring your catch home

01:00 pm - Theory lessons

 

03:00pm - Practical lessons (private pond fishing)

 

06:00 pm - Fishing ends

(pack up fish caught and wash equipment)
